Why Blaze & Gaze exists
In 2018, after years of traveling for work and pleasure across the Middle East and North Africa, Sherouk noticed a pattern: every curated trip felt the same. The same temples, the same timings, the same silence — except there was no silence.
Blaze & Gaze started as a simple idea: put together the kind of trip that Sherouk would want to take. Small groups. Real landscapes. Mornings without agendas. Applications instead of bookings — because the right people make the journey.
Every trip on this site has been walked, slept in, and eaten through by Sherouk before it was offered to anyone else. If it wouldn't make her phone go on flight mode for a week, it doesn't get listed.

Every departure is capped at 12. Not because we have to — because silence doesn't scale.

Every application is reviewed personally. The process is the first step of the journey.

We don't hand you a schedule. We hand you a landscape and a guide who knows its rhythms.
Founded in Egypt
Most of our trips begin in Egypt. We know the dunes, the oases, and which guesthouses don't need the internet.
